I have been to several vet clinics in this area over the years. Davis is, by FAR, the best one! The staff are amazing. They follow up after even routine visits to check on your... pet. They are totally up front on pricing and work with you. And they don't charge you for unnecessary things. I have taken both my dogs, as well as my cat to them for both routine and not so routine issues. And they have been amazing with whatever I've thrown at them. I highly recommend them.read more

The staff at Davis Pet Hotel and Spa are time and time again amazing when it comes to taking care of one’s pets! They were so great at sending us emailed postcards of our pups... so we always knew how they were doing on top of being able to view them via camera anytime we want. And this last time we boarded them due to needing time to get settled in with our newborn. The staff was so sweet to send along a congrats card signed by all of them! Highly recommend them! Prices are fair for such high quality and options for extra services.read more

The staff are very friendly at the hotel. They really listen and seem to enjoy their jobs. Love the fact you can see your furry babies on video while boarded! Very nice place... for the pups!!read more

We recently took our dog to Davis Animal Hospital to have her ears looked at since she was making it known that her ears were bothering her. We took her in and the staff was... wonderful with her. She was very shy at first meeting the Techs and the Vet; but she handled it well! The tech was WONDERFUL! She was sweet and caring and calm with our dog, our dog wasn’t too happy about having to get her ears swabbed but the tech was wonderful and was talking to our dog while she was getting the swabs of her ears! So pleased and will continue to take our sweet girl there!read more

After taking my dogs to the same vet office for years, I switched to Davis Animal Hospital because I was under the impression that the previous vets were more concerned with... getting money than actually helping my dogs. My dog has had recurrent, antibiotic-resistant ear infections for years, which hadn't been properly treated by the old vets (they repeatedly provided the same testing and medications knowing that they didn't help). At our first appointment yesterday, they cleaned my dog's ears thoroughly (something the old vets hadn't done), performed different testing, and prescribed new medications (a steroid and ear drops) to use while waiting for the test results. When I was administering the ear drops today, I ended up crying happy tears because my dog wasn't scared of me touching his ears or crying in pain like he has for years. The fact that - after years of suffering - my dog is already feeling better following a single appointment with Dr. Virgilio is a huge testament to how wonderful Davis Animal Hospital is.read more
